A: Search by town, county, or speciality from the homepage. Every trainer on TrainWith is UK-based, so the results match where you actually live. You can also browse the full directory of personal trainers if you’d rather have a look around first.

Q: Are trainers verified?

A: Trainers self-declare their qualifications, insurance, and experience on their profile. TrainWith is a directory — we don’t independently vet trainers. Always ask to see proof of qualifications and insurance before booking.

Q: How do I contact a trainer?

A: Each profile shows the trainer’s direct contact details — usually email or phone. Reach out to them directly. There’s no booking middleman and no in-platform messaging to learn.

Q: Does TrainWith take a cut of sessions?

A: No. Trainers pay a flat £9.99 a year to be listed. Whatever you pay your trainer goes to your trainer. We don’t handle the booking or the payment.

Q: What if I can’t find what I need?

A: If your speciality, town, or county isn’t listed yet, drop us a line via the contact page. The directory is growing — if there’s a gap, we’d like to know about it.

Q: Is using TrainWith free for clients?

A: Yes. Searching the directory and contacting a trainer is completely free. No account required, no sign-up.

Listing as a trainer

Q: How do I list my services?

A: Head to the trainer sign-up page, fill in your details, pay the £9.99 annual fee via Stripe, and confirm your email through the magic-link sent to you. Your profile is live within minutes of confirmation.

Q: What does the £9.99 a year cover?

A: A full prerendered profile page, listings under every speciality you offer, listings under your town and your county, and direct contact-detail visibility. No commission on sessions, no featured tier, no upsells.

Q: Can I list multiple specialities?

A: Yes — pick as many of the 43 specialities as fit your work. Whether that’s strength and conditioning, yoga, pre/post-natal, menopause fitness, sport-specific coaching, or rehabilitation, you’ll appear under each one. There’s no upsell tier required.

Q: How do I edit my profile?

A: Use the magic-link login on the manage page to access your profile editor. Change your photo, bio, qualifications, pricing, availability, or contact details whenever you like. Updates publish within a few minutes.

Q: How do I cancel?

A: Open the Stripe Customer Portal from the manage page and cancel in one click. Your listing stays live until the end of the year you’ve paid for — no pro-rated refunds for cancelling early, but no surprise renewal either.

Q: Who operates the directory?

A: TrainWith is built and operated by Digital Tactics, a UK technology team focused on lean, fast web products. The whole platform runs on Cloudflare’s edge network — that’s why we can keep the annual fee this low.
