Privacy Policy

Who operates the site

TrainWith is operated by Digital Tactics, a UK technology team. References to “we”, “us”, and “our” below mean Digital Tactics in its capacity as operator of trainwith.co.uk. For privacy-related queries, please email privacy@trainwith.co.uk.

What data we collect

We collect different categories of data depending on whether you’re browsing the site, contacting a trainer, or listing yourself as a trainer:

• Trainer profile data: name, location, photo, bio, qualifications, pricing, availability, specialities, and contact details that you choose to publish on your profile.
• Trainer account data: the email address you sign up with, used for magic-link authentication and Stripe billing.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store full card details. Stripe shares only what we need to recognise your subscription (subscription ID, status, billing email).
• Visitor analytics: we may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count page views and understand which pages are useful. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• Functional cookies: Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived cookie when verifying that a form submission is from a real human. There are no marketing cookies.

Where data is stored

Trainer profile information is stored in two places: Cloudflare KV (a key-value store running on Cloudflare’s UK and EU edge network) and the public TrainWith Git repository, because every profile page is prerendered as static HTML. Anything you publish on your profile is therefore public by design. Email addresses, billing data, and any private notes are stored only in Cloudflare KV and Stripe — never committed to the repository.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, to restrict how we use it, and to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@trainwith.co.uk. We’ll respond within one calendar month.

Deleting your listing

You can cancel your subscription any time via the Stripe Customer Portal from the manage page. On cancellation, your public profile is removed at the end of the period you’ve paid for. To request earlier removal or full account deletion (including your email and any private data), email privacy@trainwith.co.uk.

Changes to this policy

This page will be updated as the platform matures. The current version is a placeholder pending a full legal review prior to public launch. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
